Have you ever been so bored that you took a selfie every single day for 16 years?
If you're like most of us then the answer is probably an easy 'no.' For Jonathan Keller (JK Keller) on the other hand, it was a different story.
Keller dedicatedly and devotedly did exactly that. Once every day for every single day for an entire 16 year period he snapped a selfie, wearing the exact same monotone expression. From October 1, 1998 to 2014 he never gave up.
It's an act of commitment, that's for sure. In his four minute video (which is actually pretty cool), you can clearly see him progress through various stages of life; short hair athlete, to mid-length hair nerd, to rock star long hair (not necessarily in that order). There's also a crazy mustache phase and an ever-evolving taste in the type of glasses he likes to wear.
From his website, Keller is an artist currently working in Homer, Alaska. He has a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Minneapolis College of Art + Design. He also has a Masters of Fine Arts from the Cranbrook Academy of Art.
